What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Cookies and Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States. Google Analytics does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and webpage usage.
If you should choose to provide us with personal information through any of the contact forms or email addresses provided on this website we will use that information to respond to your message and to help us get the information you have requested.
Please note that if you have submitted information to us via a Contact Form your data will only be shared internally with relevant individuals.
As part of the application process, we require your personal information. Be advised that we will do everything to ensure the security of your information and will not share it with any 3rd Party without your express, written permission.
By submitting this application and the information recorded therein, you are giving us permission to use your personal information for the purpose of the hiring and application process, such as making sure you meet the job qualifications and performing any background checks.
After you have submitted your information, we will keep it for the period of 1 year before deleting it from our system.
Please note that we do not process sensitive information such as your political or religious beliefs, race and criminal history unless it is strictly necessary and it’s legally required or if you chose to share this info with us.
Furthermore, be advised that personal information is stored during your employment as well as during a term subsequent to the end of your employment. We are only allowed to keep your personal data for as long as it’s still necessary for the purpose we initially required it or if you have provided us with your consent for storing it (e.g. future job vacancies). Your personal data will be retained no longer than necessary.
Should you wish to check the personal information we have stored, make amendments, or would like it to be deleted ahead of schedule, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your request.
Embedded Content & Social Media Sharing
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
When you leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Who we share your data with
AQ Services International will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We will only share your personal information with:
- Internal employees relevant to your information to whom it is reasonably necessary or desirable for us to disclose the personal data to,
- Service providers that AQ Services International retains to perform services on its behalf, such as IT-service providers (please note that these service providers are not permitted to use the personal data for their own purposes and are bound by their own contracts and privacy policies and laws),
- Law enforcement or other government authorities, if required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of others or ourselves.
How we protect your data

What data breach procedures we have in place
We promptly evaluate and respond to incidents that create suspicion of or indicate unauthorized access to or handling of personal information.
If we become aware and determine that an incident involving any personal information data qualifies as a breach of security leading to the misappropriation or accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal information data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed on any of our systems that compromises its security, confidentiality or integrity, we will report such breach to you without delay.
As more information regarding the breach is collected we will provide you with any and all relevant additional information regarding the security of your personal information to the extent permitted by law.
